UPDATE – 15 Apr 2019
A photographer has been found for this even. Many thanks to all the photographers who responded!
“My daughter is graduating from U of IA and wants some shots with family around campus. This will be just for our family of 5, I don’t need super professional. It is just a memory that we want to mark for this special event in her life.”
“We would need the photos taken around campus on May 10th. Early afternoon would work best, we have a formal dinner arranged at 5:00.”
To be discussed
“I would like to get things set up as early as possible. Some examples of the photographers work would be greatly appreciated.”

The following description is from the University of Iowa website:
This year’s MBA Spring Ball will be at Old Brick at 26 E. Market St, Iowa City, IA. The event will start at 6PM on May 6th. There will be no transportation provided as the venue hall is located directly behind the Pomerantz Career Center. Tickets will be $20 for MBAA members, and $35 for non-MBAA members. Please contact Hayle Cho or Benjamin Hjelmaas if you have any questions about the RSVP and payment process.. RSVP and Payments Deadline is April 24th.
We would like for a member of the club to volunteer & join us (30-45 minutes) and take some photos of members relaxing in hammocks while enjoying s’mores at the Coralville Dam Tailwater West Campground.
This is a great opportunity to get some artistic, staged, and candid shots!
“Do you wanna s’more?”
“I haven’t had anything yet, so how can I have some more of nothing?”
“You’re killing me, Smalls! These are s’mores stuff, okay? Now everyone pay attention. First, you take the graham. You stick the chocolate on the graham. Then, you roast the mallow. When the mallow’s flaming, you stick it on the chocolate. Then you cover it with the other end. Then, you scuff. It’s kind of messy, but it’s good.” (The Sandlot, 1993)
Don’t be like Smalls! On Sunday, October 25 from 5-7pm, kick off fall with s’more fun, s’more laughs, and s’more friends! From the comfort of your hammock and in your favorite pair of pajamas, we’ll be roasting marshmallows and making amazing s’mores around a campfire!
Be sure to bring your hammock or camping chair, flashlight, blanket, and warm clothes!
